About David Zisa
A sculptor of sound, David is a producer and performer of abstract electronic music. Following a decade of DJ residencies in lower Manhattan, he journeyed from the club stage to the studio, immersing himself in sound design and complex recording techniques, taking inspiration from artists like Alessandro Cortini and Francis Preve.
David’s recent works include the 2018 release of Parasoma with vocalist Hannah Sumner, featuring bass clarinetist Vasko Dukovski, collaborations with producer Leo Leite, and a series of music compositions for live theater. David has performed on stages around New York and Miami including Output, House of Yes, The Irish-American Historical Society, (le) poisson rouge, The Brooklyn Mirage, Forte dei Marmi and multiple sold-out shows at National Sawdust.
David currently tours and performs with Subhaze Studio.
